What you need
- A wallet on Robinhood Chain. MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby or any other; on a phone, WalletConnect or your wallet's own browser.
- USDC on Robinhood Chain.
- A little ETH for gas. A transaction on Robinhood Chain usually costs under a cent.
- Not in the US. Stock Tokens are not offered to US persons, and not everywhere else either.
Buy in three steps
Step 1. connect
Open your profile and connect. If the wallet is on another network, it is asked to switch to Robinhood Chain when you trade.
Open the Buy side of your portfolio
Step 2. pick the stocks
Every stock with a market is listed with its live price. Type a dollar amount next to each one you want. $1 is the minimum per stock. You can buy several in the same order.
Step 3. confirm once
Press Buy. The tokens land in your wallet a few seconds later.
What protects the price
- The order is quoted just before it is sent and refused if a pool is more than 1.5% off the feed price.
- Slippage is capped at 0.5%.
- The fee is 1%, taken in the stock you buy.
